Man detained in Kyiv who set off fireworks
The suspect explained his behaviour by saying that he just wanted to wish his friend a happy birthday.

Law enforcers have detained a man in the capital who was launching fireworks in the yard of his house in Borshchagivka. Investigators informed him of the suspicion, the figure faces up to 5 years in prison.
Law enforcers received information that an unknown man had launched fireworks in the Svyatoshinsky district of the capital. Video of the fireworks was published in many telegram channels.
The detainee turned out to be a 28-year-old native of Kyiv region, previously convicted for drug possession.

A criminal case under Part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code - hooliganism has already been initiated, the man has already been suspected and faces up to five years of imprisonment.
