Exadvokat who "worked" for the Telegram channel "Wagner" was exposed in Kiev

Cyber specialists of the Security Service of Ukraine have exposed in Kiev a former lawyer who publicly called for a violent seizure of state power in Ukraine. His hostile agitation was picked up by Internet resources of the Russian special services to shake up the situation in our state and demoralise Ukrainian soldiers at the front," the report said.

The attacker positioned himself as a "leader of public opinion". To provoke people to social unrest under the guise of "protest" rallies, the man distributed videos on YouTube. The total audience of the channel is more than 100 thousand users.

In these videos their author tried to discredit the supreme military-political leadership of Ukraine and incited citizens to forceful actions to overthrow the constitutional order in our state, - noted in the SBU.

Law enforcers have established that the suspect's videos were used by Russian Internet resources, including the Wagnerites' telegram channels. The Russians presented the attacker's stories as "the position of ordinary citizens of Ukraine" and tried to damage the international image of our state.

The expert analysed the suspect's piblical materials and confirmed his subversive activities in favour of the aggressor country.

Based on the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service informed the attacker of suspicion under part 2 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - public calls for violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, as well as distribution of materials with calls for such actions.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. The issue of selecting a preventive measure for the suspect is also being decided. He faces imprisonment.
