In Kyiv today, 29 August, a farewell ceremony was held for the legendary Ukrainian pilot Andriy Pilshchikov with the call sign "Juice".

Farewell to Andriy Pilshchikov, captain of the 40 brigades of tactical aviation in the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ UGCC.
In the church was the girl of the dead pilot, Melania Podolyak.
Andriy Pilshchikov died on 25 August due to a plane crash during a combat mission in the Zhytomyr region.
At that time, two L-39 aircraft collided. As a result of the crash, three pilots were killed, among them Juice.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Andrey Pilshchikov has been defending the skies of Ukraine. Participated in the air defence of Kyiv.
