For the safety of the population in the Kyiv region, 258 cameras with face recognition will be installed.

The head of the Kiev region police at a meeting of the KOGA board said that they plan to install 258 additional cameras with face recognition in the region in public places. This was announced by the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region Andriy Nebitov.

Today, during a meeting of the Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, I sincerely thanked the heads of the UTC for close cooperation and interaction, which is so important both during active hostilities and after the de-occupation of the regions of the Kiev region, Nebitov said.

Measures are being taken to ensure the safety of citizens: not only in identifying offenses, but also in countering the DRG, as well as the operational search for saboteurs.

Nebitov also said that more than 90 community police officers are already working in the region.
