The number of Ukrainians killed in Israel has risen to seven people

This was reported by Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Nikolenko.

Consuls have established their personal data, liaise with relatives and take measures to repatriate the bodies," Nikolenko wrote on Facebook.

He also said that 9 citizens of Ukraine were injured of varying severity. Another 9 Ukrainians are considered missing.

The Ukrainian embassy is co-operating with the Israeli security services in the context of the search for the missing, - added the official.

Nikolenko also said that more than a thousand Ukrainians have applied for help in leaving Israel. According to him, diplomats are preparing the first evacuation flight to Romania for 14 October. The details will be communicated to Ukrainians who have provided their details to the Ukrainian Embassy in Tel Aviv.

Also, about 200 Ukrainians have expressed a desire to evacuate from the Gaza Strip, but due to the lack of security the departure is still impossible, - added the diplomat.

A reminder: earlier, the Ukrainian ambassador to Israel, Yevhen Korniychuk, announced the first evacuation flight from Israel.
