GUR reported what Russian propaganda is focused on
It is crucial for the Russian Federation to destroy the good relations between Kiev and the West.
The Russian Federation is focused on undermining the internal unity of the Ukrainian society and trust between Ukraine and its Western allies.
A representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, Vadym Skibytskyy, told this to the Telegram channel GUR.
As Skibitskyy noted, working to destroy relations between Ukraine and the West, the Kremlin is trying to stop arms deliveries to our country. The internal split in Ukraine is necessary for Moscow to weaken support for the authorities and the unity of the Ukrainian people.
As for Russian attitudes, propagandists are trying to kill Russians that the war has not affected the country's economy that much and that it supposedly retains the ability to develop.
Our main weapon in this process is the truth. Ukraine's military intelligence, for example, has become more open: we publish facts and individual intelligence data that reveal the aggressor's intentions, and we make public the evidence of Russia's war crimes. This approach proves its effectiveness: Russian propaganda cannot achieve its main goals, which means that Russia loses in the information war," Skibitskyy said.
We would like to point out that among the topics that Russian propaganda is now "spinning": "the German economy is expected to collapse", "the crisis has already come to every home in Europe", "Africans: 'France, get out', Welcome, Russia". Inside Ukraine, the Russians spin the topics of elections, internal political confrontations, bribery and conscription.
