GUR explains why Russia has reduced missile attacks on Ukraine
The Russians used most of the missiles to hit Ukrainian infrastructure during the winter. Now they are stockpiling those missiles.
Andrey Yusov, a spokesman for the Main Directorate of Intelligence, said this on the air of a national TV marathon.
In his opinion, the Russians have changed their tactics of rocket attacks again. Now they are stockpiling missiles in order to be able to counter a Ukrainian counteroffensive.
This, in particular, explains the fact that the missile attacks on Ukrainian regions have decreased.
The targets will be different - it's largely not energy infrastructure, but, for example, everything to do with logistics, preparing military targets in the context of trying to disrupt the Ukrainian offensive.
Whereas in winter, under the guise of hitting military targets, the occupier was hitting civilian and energy infrastructure, now the enemy is really going to focus on military targets to counter the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
