There was an explosion at an airfield in Belarus
It is from this airfield that Russian MiG aircraft are often launched.
Two explosions were heard at the Belarusian military airfield Machulischy, 12 kilometres from Minsk. According to the Belarusian opposition initiative BYPOL, citing its own sources, the explosions damaged a Russian military transport plane and snow removal equipment.
Local residents told reporters they heard two explosions around 8:00-9:30 and there may have been another explosion during the night.
The republic's law enforcers reacted to the incident. In the morning, the traffic police stopped cars and checked the boots and documents of drivers. Later, movement of BB MAZ trucks towards the airfield was noticed.
As is well known, it is from the Machulishchi airport that the Kinnzhal missile carriers usually take off, due to which an air alert is declared in Ukraine.

As BYPOL later added, the front and central parts of the aircraft, avionics and radar antenna were damaged.
The damage is serious, the plane will definitely not fly anywhere. The incident occurred while snowplows were working near the aircraft. (...) Belarusian partisans are consistent in expelling the Nazis from their land, writes the initiative.
It should be noted that the joint exercises of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia, which have been continuously going on since 29 April 2022, have been extended until at least 6 March.
