US reacts to UK statement on China's arms supplies to Russian Federation

The United States has no data on China's arms deliveries to Russia. This was stated by White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan at a media briefing on 22 May.

He specified that he "looks forward to talking to the UK to make sure we have a common operating picture."

Going back to 2022, I actually stood on this podium and expressed concern that China could provide direct lethal assistance to Russia. But we didn't see that in 2022, we didn't see that in 2023, we don't see that now," Sullivan said.

He added that he was going to better understand exactly what British Defence Secretary Grant Shapps was trying to say.

We have expressed our concerns about what China is doing to feed the Russian military machine, not by providing weapons directly, but by providing resources to the Russian defence industrial base. That's happening now. That's what we're concerned about, and we've taken measures to deal with it in concert with our allies and partners, and you can expect more such measures in the future," Sullivan said.

Socialportal previously reported that British Defence Secretary Grant Shapps told a conference in London that US and British military intelligence had evidence that "lethal aid is now flowing or will flow from China to Russia."

It has also been reported that US, Russian and Chinese intelligence agencies are increasingly co-operating closely on military matters, including a potential invasion of Taiwan. Earlier, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev called Ukraine's victory over Russian Federation "impossible".
