Ukrainians told if social benefits abroad affect pension
Receipt of material assistance by Ukrainian pensioners abroad is not a reason to withdraw a pension.
This is reminded by the Ministry of Social Policy.
It is noted that current legislation does not make the payment of pensions contingent on whether a person receives financial assistance abroad. If pensions are paid into a bank account, the funds become the property of the person at the time of payment. And the person has the right to use them as he or she sees fit.
