Ukrainian troops continue to repel occupier's attempt to storm Soledar

This was reported by Military Media Center quoting the commander of the Ground Forces, Colonel-General Aleksandr Syrskyy.

The enemy again made a desperate attempt to storm the town of Soledar in various directions and threw the most professional detachments of Wagnerians into battle. However, thanks to the courage of our defenders and the skilful and competent use of fire, the enemy suffered significant losses and retreated once again, despite propaganda statements by the enemy about the alleged capture of Soledar.

It is worth noting that the day before, Syrsky had visited the areas of Bakhmut and Soledar and discussed the current situation on the front with unit commanders.

Practical recommendations were provided and further actions to strengthen Ukraine's defence capabilities were identified.
