Ukrainian pilots already trained to fly F-16s

Borrell hopes that the transfer of F-16 fighters to Ukraine will begin soon.
This was stated by EU diplomatic chief Josep Borrel, Europa Press reported.

The training of pilots has already started, and I hope that soon we will be able to provide Ukraine with these weapons (F-16s - Ed.)
Borrell also welcomed the decision to hand over the modern fighters, as the Ukrainian defence forces need them.
The programme envisages training Ukrainian pilots to fly the fourth generation fighters, including the F-16s.
