Ukrainian intelligence reacted to explosions at Russian factories last night
The Ukrainian side has repeatedly stated that army-related industrial facilities in the Russian Federation are legitimate targets of the Ukrainian military.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry can neither confirm nor deny its involvement in the explosions that took place at Russian factories this night. A representative of the Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Yusov, said this on air during a telethon.
A gunpowder plant, a plant for the production of missile equipment, a train derailed somewhere. Well, you see, good people in Russia are also celebrating the first anniversary of the liberation of the Ukrainian city of Kherson, and the Main Intelligence Directorate congratulates everyone," Yusov replied.
The GUR representative stressed that Ukrainian intelligence "can neither confirm nor deny" the incidents on Russian territory. But, according to him, this news is certainly good.
All facilities in Russia that continue to be related to the genocidal war against Ukrainians, something will continue to happen to them," he added.
It should be noted that on the night of 11 November, explosions occurred at the Kotovsky gunpowder plant in the Tambov region. After that, a fire broke out there. Eyewitnesses on social networks reported that before the fire they saw a drone flying towards the plant and heard an explosion. This is the second such incident at the Tambov gunpowder plant in six months.
Also, the previous day in the city of Kolomna, Moscow Region, an explosion occurred near the Machine Building Design Bureau, which develops and manufactures missile equipment and anti-aircraft systems.
In the Ryazan region, 19 wagons of a goods train derailed after an explosion on the railway track. The derailment of the wagons occurred at about 7am at the Rybnoye - Block Post crossing. The driver's assistant was injured and an ambulance crew was called to him.
Earlier, GUR reconnaissance officers carried out a successful special operation in Crimea. Two Project 11770 landing boats were hit in the village of Chornomorskoye, with Russian personnel losses being specified.
