Ukrainian grain scattered in Poland again
160 tonnes of agri-products were damaged.
In Poland at the Kotomezh railway station, on the night of Sunday, 25 February, unknown persons opened eight gondola cars and scattered Ukrainian grain. This was reported in the Telegram-channel of the Ministry of recovery.
It is noted that the cargo was going in transit to the port of Gdansk, from where it was supposed to go to other countries.
The Ukrainian side fulfils its obligations in good faith and according to agreements with the Polish government does not export some types of agricultural products to Poland. This is confirmed at the official level - neither grain, nor corn, nor rapeseed - does not stay there, - said that the Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.
The official pointed out that "this is the fourth case of vandalism at Polish railway stations, the fourth case of impunity and irresponsibility".
This is now the largest-scale diversion of Ukrainian grain in neighbouring Poland.
Polish media reported that the wagons were carrying corn. Representatives of the local authorities and the police promptly arrived at the scene. At present, no information about the perpetrators and the reasons for their actions is available.
