Ukrainian Armed Forces defeat a unit of Chechen battalion "Akhmat"

This was reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff. The report reads

"An Akhmat battalion unit was hit in the locality of Lysychansk. The occupants suffered more than 30 dead and up to 15 wounded. The real number of dead is being carefully concealed by the enemy."

In addition, in the settlement of Horlivka, Donetsk region, a strike was launched against an area where enemy equipment was concentrated. Five combat vehicles were destroyed and four more were damaged.

In the vicinity of Maiorsk, the enemy suffered up to 30 casualties and over 120 casualties of varying degrees of severity.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched four missile and 24 air strikes and carried out more than 55 rocket launcher attacks.

The enemy struck 30 settlements in Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Luhansk, Mykolayiv, Sumy and Kherson regions.
