Ukraine liberates more territories than Russia seizes

Earlier, the Russian army managed to seize Ukrainian territories larger than the area of Denmark. But control over them was lost.

The American Institute reports this for the Study of War (ISW).

According to analysts, the Russian army had captured Ukrainian territories larger than Denmark by mid-March.

However, they are now out of control. Instead, over the past 39 days, Russian troops have managed to capture areas similar in size to the territory of Andorra, but this is only 1% of what it lost earlier.

Meanwhile, in the occupied territories, the Russian-appointed "leadership" is trying to integrate the occupied areas into Russian systems. However, the local population actively resists such measures. Especially the occupying "authorities" are opposed by the partisan movement.
