Ukraine to receive World Bank funds to rebuild energy sector

The funds will be used to rebuild facilities in Kiev, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy and cities in the Chernihiv region.

According to the prime minister, World Bank managing director Anne Bjerde and Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal signed an agreement in Washington DC to provide Ukraine with another $200m for energy rehabilitation.
The World Bank will provide Ukraine with an additional $200 million to restore the energy sector! An agreement has just been signed in Washington with the managing director of the World Bank, Anna Bjerde.
The reconstruction of the Ukrainian infrastructure will start this year, the energy sector is a priority.
The funds raised will be used to restore facilities in Kiev, Kharkiv, Mykolayiv, Sumy and cities of Chernihiv Region.
