Ukraine and US agree on new options for counter-offensive
Blinken is confident of a successful Ukrainian counter-offensive.
US State Department chief Anthony Blinken wrote this on Twitter.
He said that in a conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, the United States had assured Ukraine that it was "committed to remain on Ukraine's side for as long as necessary and to support a successful counteroffensive".
In addition, the conversation touched on the topic of an updated Ukrainian counteroffensive and the strengthening of the country's air defence.
Blinken "firmly rejected any attempts to question Ukraine's ability to win on the battlefield".
It is worth noting that the secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksiy Danilov, recently said that four or five people "know the details of the counteroffensive". According to him, the leadership "is not waiting for magic dates".
