Recently, military engineers from one of the tank units of the 22nd OMBR conducted a training exercise using a Biber paver.
A photo of the exercise was published by the AFU General Staff.
According to the plan of the exercise, it is necessary to build a bridge over a natural obstacle for the vehicles to pass through. A few minutes - and the bridge is ready: the equipment successfully overcomes the obstacle," the report said.
According to the commander of the engineering unit Lubomir, this bridge-builder can bridge terrain cuts such as water bodies and gorges up to 20 metres wide.
The Biber is a German-made armoured paver. The bridge is laid out horizontally in a loose cantilever.
