Baykar acquired a land plot in Ukraine and developed the design of the plant itself.

Ukraine's Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, Vasily Bodnar, announced this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine announced in interview with RBC-Ukraine by Ukraine's Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey Vasily Bodnar.

Despite the war, our companies continue to fulfill their obligations. Perhaps not in such volumes as planned, but they do not leave this work, and this also shows how responsible we are as a partner who does not leave the Turkish side alone with its problems, primarily in supplying those things needed for their defense. Bodnar noted.

The ambassador said that drone component, such as engines and wheels, can use Ukrainian ones.

And it (the decision, - ed.) is not only political but also practical, since a significant part of the models produced at this plant will have Ukrainian-made components,” Bodnar added.

At the same time, the Turkish defense industry department was informed that a partnership with the Russian Federation to produce Bayraktar was not yet considered, even though Putin suggested that Turkish President Erdogan open the production of Bayraktar in Russia.
