Three modifications of Leopard tanks have been adopted by the AFU

The Ministry of Defence has adopted the next armoured vehicles for the AFU - Leopard 2A6, Leopard 2A5 and Leopard 1A5 tanks.
The corresponding orders were signed by Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov. This was reported by the Defence Ministry.
Ukraine received these tanks from Western partners, and they have effectively proved themselves in battles. By accepting these tanks for service, we declare our intention to have modern and high-tech weapons in the long term," the ministry said.
Leopard tanks of the 2A6, 2A5 and 1A5 modifications are designed to break through fortified enemy positions, destroy enemy fire points, equipment and manpower, and quickly organise defensive lines.
