There was a mass poisoning at a Christmas party in France
Workers at a factory in Montoir-de-Bretagne in western France were affected.
In France, more than 700 employees of Airbus Atlantic were poisoned during a corporate dinner organised by their bosses before the Christmas holidays. This is reported by AFP.
It is noted that almost all participants of the party needed the help of medics. Those, in turn, indicated that the victims had the same symptoms - diarrhoea and vomiting.
The responsible health authority ARS has already started checking the incident. Specialists are looking for the cause of poisoning of hundreds of people. According to preliminary data, the source of infection could be cheese, which was eaten by almost everyone who was at the Christmas dinner that day.
At the same time, medics note that no severe cases of poisoning have been recorded. And most employees returned to work on Monday after the incident, and no one was seriously ill.
