The UN expanded the program of multi-purpose financial support for Ukrainians
Another 70,000 Ukrainians will receive financial assistance from the UN.
Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Oksana Zholnovych and UN representative Karolina Lindholm Billing held a working meeting, during which they announced the expansion of the program of multi-purpose financial support for war-affected Ukrainians. This was reported in the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

Especially urgent is the need for assistance on the eve of the winter season, providing social protection to the most vulnerable categories of the population in Ukraine (lonely older adults, people with disabilities in need of care, etc.), strengthening the ability of territorial communities to provide social services to displaced people, the minister said.
The Ministry reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 140,000 Ukrainians had received assistance from the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
Thanks to implementing the multi-purpose cash support program for war-affected Ukrainians, which is an additional measure of social support to existing state assistance, almost 140,000 people received UAH 2,220 payments per family member for three months from UNHCR, Zholnovych said.
The Ministry of Social Policy spoke about the result of a meeting to strengthen coordination and cooperation in the field of social support for the population Oksana Zholnovich and the Representative of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine, Carolina Lindholm Billing.
As a result of the meeting, representatives of the partners confirmed their readiness to extend the program of multi-purpose financial support to another 70,000 people. The organization plans to continue to support the development of digital technologies in the social sphere, the Ministry of Social Policy reported.
The Ministry also reminded that recipients of assistance would be selected from those registered to receive payments from international organizations on the Dopomoga platform.
