The Pension Fund told when pensions are automatically assigned
You can count on the automatic appointment of pension payments by age only if you have all the information about the acquired insurance period.
If all the necessary information is available, after a person reaches retirement age, a pension will be assigned automatically without contacting the PFU. This is reported by the PFU on the official Facebook page.
Also, the PFC told the mechanism for applying for a pension if there is not enough certain information about the insurance period.
At the same time, you can apply for a pension remotely through the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine by filling out an application for a pension in your personal account.
The PFC also told about who has the right to retire in 2022.
In 2022, persons who have reached the age of 60 are entitled to an old-age pension if they have at least 29 years of insurance experience. In the absence of the necessary insurance period, an old-age pension can be assigned later. For example, if a person works and acquires the required 29 years of insurance experience or in 2025 - after reaching the age of 63 with at least 22 years of insurance experience. The presence of an insurance period that gives the right to an old-age pension is determined on the date a person reaches the appropriate age, the PFU said in a statement.
