The Office of the Attorney General updated figures on wounded children during the war
The figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in the battlefields.
In Ukraine, as of 20 January, the number of children injured as a result of Russia's full-scale invasion of our country rose to 1,196, the Office of the Prosecutor-General has said. The number of dead children remained the same - 520.
It is specified that on 19 January a 16-year-old boy was wounded as a result of shelling of the city of Kherson by Russian troops.
The Office of the Prosecutor General notes that these figures are not final, "as work is underway to establish them in the places of hostilities, in the occupied and liberated territories"
According to the OGP, the most children were injured in Donetsk Region - 504, Kharkiv Region - 315, Kherson Region - 146, Kyiv Region - 130, Dnipropetrovsk Region - 111, Mykolaiv Region - 101, Zaporizhzhya Region - 100, Chernihiv Region - 72, Luhansk Region - 67.
