The drivers who were carrying humanitarian aid were seized by the invaders.
All these people are in the hands of the Russian occupiers, - journalist Andrei Tsaplienko writes, - They are civilians, owners of cars that delivered humanitarian aid exclusively to civilians in Mariupol. Their fate is unknown. According to unconfirmed information, they are in the occupied Olenivka. The Russians are silent about their place of residence.
Albina Lvutina, the girlfriend of one of these desperate drivers Yevgeny Malyarchuk, calls on international organizations to save those who saved civilians:
They are charged under the laws of the so-called "DPR", they face 10 years in prison. Ordinary volunteers, civilians, they were unarmed and had nothing to do with military formations.
Evgeny Malyarchuk is in the general base of prisoners of Ukraine. However, he cannot be included in the exchange lists, since the “DPR” does not confirm that he is in captivity. The same is true for other drivers.
