Unfortunately, we know that in fact, near every liberated settlement, we have burial places for people who were subjected to torture and other war crimes. So, in order to even approach, for example, a mass grave near any of the cities, these places need to be cleared of mines, because almost all of them are mined, Monastyrsky said.
According to him, the police now have a lot of additional functions, these are investigations of war crimes of the Russian Federation, and demining of territories.
In order to quickly clear these territories and show the whole world the crimes committed by Russians in Ukraine, additional units will be involved both from the State Emergency Service and the National Police, Monastyrsky added.
