The HQ of the AFU told about the threats Ukrainian soldiers are getting from the enemy

The Russian special services are trying to intimidate the Ukrainian servicemen by sending threatening written messages to their personal telephone numbers.

They heard calls to betray the oath, lay down their arms, surrender or go over to the side of the enemy, according to the State Service for Communications.

According to the General Staff, threats are intensifying with the indication of personal data (surname and name of the person, taxpayer code, place of registration, and sometimes data on the number and composition of the family).

The mailing goes through SMS, as well as through mobile messengers "Telegram", "Viber", "Signal" or "Vatsap".

The text of the threats refers to the alleged exact location of the person who received the specified message. It is noted that in the event of an extension of service, precise missile strikes will be carried out at the places of residence of the owner of the phone and his family.

Usually, the specified personal data of persons are outdated: the person has changed the place of registration, moved to another locality, changed the unit in which he served in the military, stopped military service, etc.

The threats sent of this type are primarily aimed at destabilizing the moral and psychological climate in the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, sowing doubts and lowering morale. Such actions of the enemy are one of the types of psychological attack, which is not supported by any specific actions. Trust only trusted sources, the State Special Communications Service emphasizes.
