Russians in Bakhmut start scorched earth tactics.

The commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyy, said this in a commentary to Military Media Center.

According to Syrskyy, the Russians in Bakhmut have started using scorched earth tactics. At the same time, he assured that the situation in the city was difficult, but under control.

The enemy has switched to the so-called "Syrian" scorched earth tactics. It is destroying buildings and positions with air strikes and artillery fire. The defence of Bakhmut continues. The situation is difficult, but controlled.

In addition, as Alexander Syrsky points out, the Ukrainians are exhausting the Wagnerians by their actions. They are forced to involve special troops and airborne assault units in the battles for Bakhmut.

The fighting is brutal on both sides.
