There is a threat of an offensive from Zaporizhzhya to Donetsk Region - Reznikov

There is a threat in this direction, as the occupiers have the ability to replenish reserves.

Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said during a briefing:

As for the southeastern part, there is a threat (offensive - ed.) there, because their grouping there has the ability to replenish both weapons, equipment and people. Therefore, of course, the situation there is more tense. We mean from Zaporizhzhya to Donetsk region.

The minister also said that there is no threat to Odessa now, as the enemy has lost its superiority in the sea after the destruction of the Moskva cruiser and Ukraine's possession of anti-ship missiles. There is also no threat, according to the minister, to Mykolaiv and Kherson.

Reznikov concluded:

We do not rule out a full-scale offensive by the Russians, given their love of symbolism. February 24, the anniversary of the war, is coming up.
