State Emergency Situations Service sappers showed footage of demining with the help of drones

The State Emergency Service engineers have used various types of drones more than 800 times this year during humanitarian demining. This is reported by the State Emergency Service.

This figure is not dry statistics, but real lives and health of people - both sappers and civilians - saved," the State Emergency Service stressed.

Drones are most often used in demining in the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.

Drones help pyrotechnics to survey the territory potentially contaminated with enemy explosives, including water areas of water bodies, to draw up maps and to protect themselves when destroying explosive objects.
