State Border Guard Service of Ukraine shows video of strengthening of Ukrainian-Belarusian border

Despite changes in weather conditions, engineering units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are working on the installation of various types of engineering barriers. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has reported this.

They are digging anti-tank ditches along the entire section of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

We continue the construction of reinforced concrete, metal-mesh fence and barbed wire fence of Egoza type. In open areas we also install anti-tank concrete pyramids, - said the assistant head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko.

To carry out the work border guards use both departmental special equipment and equipment received as assistance.

Strengthening of the border is also carried out with the active assistance of local authorities.

Together with the units of the Defence Forces, mine and explosive barriers continue to be built up in dangerous areas.

At present, the situation on the border with Belarus remains fully controlled. But we understand the threat that may come from this direction, as this country continues to support Russia in the war unleashed against our country," added Andrei Demchenko.

The situation on the other side of the border is constantly monitored by intelligence units to assess the state of the threat for a timely response.
