Deputy collabed with the enemy in Kharkiv region

A resident of Kharkiv Region has been charged by the prosecutor's office for collaborating with the Russians during the occupation of Izyum Region.

This was reported by the Prosecutor-General's Office.

The suspected collaborator is a deputy of the Borovskyy village council in Kharkiv Region's Izyum district at the eighth convocation.

According to investigators, during the occupation of the village of Podvyysokoye, Izyum district, the woman voluntarily agreed to work for the enemy. She joined the so-called "assistant chief of the Borovsk Territorial Administration of the Izyum District of Kharkiv Region (village of Pidysokoye)". In fact, the woman became the village's 'chair'," the report said.

In addition, the suspect participated in meetings of the occupation administration and collected and compiled lists of local residents, which she later handed over to the new "authorities".

Law enforcers informed the woman of her suspicion and are deciding whether to take her into custody.
