At the same time, a decision on aircraft delivery dates has not yet been discussed

This was reported by Reuters citing an anonymous US official.

A day earlier, the publication reported that US Secretary of State Blinken had sent letters to Denmark and the Netherlands, which are leaders in training Ukrainian fighter pilots. They say they will authorise the dispatch of fighter jets to Ukraine after the completion of pilot training.

I am writing to express the United States' full support for both the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine and the training of Ukrainian pilots by qualified instructors," Anthony Blinken said in the letter, a copy of which was seen by Reuters.

The Danish Foreign Minister also confirmed the authorisation to transfer F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine in the future.

Rasmussen said that he had received approval from the USA for the transfer of fighter jets to Ukraine. At the same time, he added that a decision on the delivery of F-16s had not been made yet because Ukrainian pilots still had to undergo training.

Earlier Socialportal reported on the statement of the speaker of the Air Force of the AFU that Ukraine will not be able to receive from Western allies F-16 fighter jets in the coming autumn or winter.
