A special Defence Ministry flight has left Moscow for St Petersburg. It may be carrying Putin.
According to Flightradar service, a special Il-96-300PU ("Control Point") designed to carry the Russian president has flown from the capital. The aircraft, with tail number RA-96022, is tentatively heading towards St Petersburg.
At the moment the plane is missing from the Flightradar map, its route has been tracked by almost 50,000 users.
Vladimir Putin has flown on many occasions on this particular plane. For instance to Ulyanovsk and Novosibirsk.
For his part, Peskov denied that Putin had allegedly flown to St Petersburg.
It is not just Putin who is flying out of Moscow, but Shoigu's relatives as well.
The famous tic-tac-toe Shoigu, for example, cancelled all business and flew urgently to Dubai... on a "working visit".
It should be added that several business jets left Moscow for St Petersburg at once. Apparently the elites are leaving Moscow
The Kaliningrad region, bordering Poland, is also troubled. There, conscripts have been issued weapons and units have been put on alert.
