Media: Russia fails ballistic missile test during Biden's visit to Kyiv
CNN sources said that Russia had alerted the United States about the test in advance and the United States did not see it as a step towards escalating tensions.
CNN writes:
A test of the Sarmat heavy missile has apparently failed. Russia has previously conducted successful tests of the missile.
Journalists stress that if the launch had been successful, according to US officials, Russian President Vladimir Putin would have stressed this in his address to the Federal Assembly on Tuesday.
At the same time, the Bloomberg news agency quoted representatives linked to arms production as saying that the USA would hand Ukraine long-range GPS-guided bombs capable of hitting targets at a distance of 72 km.
