Explosions are heard in the Cherkasy region
On Saturday, almost the entire territory of Ukraine declared an air alert.
In the Cherkasy region on July 16, the sounds of explosions are heard. Prior to that, an air alert was announced throughout Ukraine.
Local residents said they saw smoke in the sky.
As of 16:55, an air alert has been announced in all regions, except for the occupied Crimea and the Kherson region, most of which is also occupied by the Russians.
An air raid means the danger of missile strikes, residents are advised to move to shelter.
Local authorities have not yet commented on the situation. There are no details about the place where the missile hit, as well as whether the air defenses worked.
