SBU detains Ukrzaliznytsya official who helped prepare occupiers' air strike
An official who collected intelligence on the locations of the Security and Defence Forces on the territory of the regional centre has been detained
The woman was recruited several months ago and passed information to a Russian serviceman stationed in a temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk Region, the Security Service of Ukraine said.
The enemy accomplice supplied the Russians with information on the location of the Defence Forces units. To prepare for targeted air attacks on strategically essential objects of the transport infrastructure of Ukraine, the woman photographed these objects, travelling around the city on public transport.
She also published offers of assistance to the occupation forces in Russian public forums.
The collaborator was detained at her place of residence and during the search a mobile phone was seized, which she used to communicate with the Russian "curator". She is now in custody. An investigation is continuing to establish all the circumstances of the offence.
She faces up to 8 years in prison.
Earlier Socportal reported that the SBU exposed the contractors of one of the units of the AFU in the Kherson region, who worked for the enemy.
