SBU detains Russian special services agent who coordinated Russian missile strike in central Kramatorsk, which killed 10 people

A resident of Kramatorsk, an employee of a local gas transport company, turned out to be an agent of the Russian special services whose task was to collect intelligence about the locations and movements of the defence forces in Slovyansk and Kramatorsk, the SBU press service has said.

His tasks included recording and transmitting to the enemy the locations of critical infrastructure and mass gatherings of people.

on 27 June, he was tasked with finding out the working hours and presence of visitors at a cafe in central Kramatorsk. Following his instructions, the Russian agent videotaped the establishment and cars parked nearby. The agent sent the footage to the enemy intelligence service.

Having received the data, the Russian army launched an attack on the establishment where people were staying.

According to the National Police of Ukraine, as of 11:00 am, the Russian army's missile strike resulted in 10 dead and 61 wounded. Among them are three dead children and one wounded toddler.

At the moment, the Ukrainian Security Service is taking comprehensive measures to establish all the circumstances of the crime and bring the perpetrator and other individuals involved to justice.
