In Bukovina, an Internet agitator spread misinformation about the internal situation in the region and discredited the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

According to investigators, the perpetrator was a resident of Chernivtsi Region who used to practice law. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he actively called on social media to support the occupiers and justified their war crimes.

The Security Service of Ukraine reported:

Among his most common "throw-ins" are posts on the banned social networking site Vkontakte about the alleged aggravation of the socio-political situation in western Ukraine due to the war with Russia.

It also dispersed lies about the activities of state authorities, Ukrainian military units and volunteer organisations.

Among the recipients of this fake information was the Kremlin propagandist Solovyov personally, with whom he was held in direct communication.

For this, the aggressor's henchman hoped to obtain Russian citizenship and settle in one of the settlements near Moscow.
