Security Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya unmasked the occupier's adjuster, who turned out to be a university teacher

A teacher of one of the universities in the regional centre of Zaporizhzhya has been reported on suspicion of spreading information about the deployment of the AFU

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another informant of the Russian security services in the frontline districts of Zaporizhzhya, the Security Service of Ukraine has said.

A computer science teacher at a local higher vocational school disguised as a dacha-dweller visited garden co-operatives near the contact line. With the help of binoculars and other optics, collected information about the locations of dislocation, as well as the movement of Ukrainian defenders and military equipment in the Zaporizhzhya direction. The attacker rode a bicycle around neighbouring Dacha cooperatives and the surrounding area for the same purpose.

The enemy agent sent the collected data to the representative of the aggressor country via Telegram.

The occupants needed the intelligence information to prepare fire strikes on AFU units, including using enemy S-300 and S-400 air defence systems.

During the search at the place of residence the detainee was found:

  • a mobile phone and a laptop with evidence of his correspondence with the rf intelligence service;
  • 4 signal and noise pistols converted into combat pistols;
  • 3 walkie-talkies;
  • optical devices for surveillance of remote objects.

Investigators of the Security Service informed the suspect of suspicion under part 3 of article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorised dissemination of information about the movement, movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, committed under martial law).

The suspect has been detained. He faces up to 12 years in prison.
