SBU reported suspicion of traitor captured in Robotino village

Evidence has been collected regarding a fighter of Russian occupation groups who fought against Ukraine on the southern front.

Military counterintelligence officers of the SBU and AFU servicemen captured him during a clash near the village of Robotino in the Zaporizhzhya region this spring. The detainee turned out to be a resident of temporarily occupied Crimea, who in November 2022 joined the ranks of the 810th Marine Brigade from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," the report said.

The suspect was assigned as a gunner of the enemy unit. He received a uniform, automatic weapons and ammunition from the occupants. On the eve of the counter-offensive of the AFU, the militant, after a short course of military training, was sent to the southern front to strengthen the first line of defence of the Russians.

It is noted that the attacker was detained during one of the contact fights. At the moment he is in custody. The man is reported on suspicion under part 2 of article 111 (high treason committed under martial law) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. He faces a sentence of life imprisonment.
