SBU reports Russian propagandist actor Mashkov suspected

Russian actor Vladimir Mashkov, who is part of the inner circle of the aggressor country's top military and political leadership and publicly supports the war, has been declared a suspect.

This was reported by the SBU press service.

According to law enforcers, during the full-scale invasion, the actor repeatedly spoke in support of the occupiers during mass events involving Putin.

Also on his own Telegram channel and personal Instagram page with a total audience of over 200,000 subscribers, Mashkov regularly glorifies the war crimes of the Nazis," the SBU reported.

Additionally, Mashkov has appeared on the airwaves of central Russian channels, where he called for the "annexation" of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions of Ukraine into Russia. He also illegally visited the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine and Crimea to participate in propaganda events in support of the aggressive war against our state.

Forensic examinations initiated by the SBU confirmed the facts of his explosive activities in favour of the Kremlin. Based on the collected evidence, SBU investigators informed Mashkov of suspicion under three articles of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, part 2 of Article 110 (encroachment). 2 of Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine); Part 1 of Article 43. part 1 and Part 3 of Article 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants); Part 1. part 1 and Part 2 of Article 332-1 (violation of the order of entry into and exit from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine), - law enforcers add.

The perpetrator is now on the territory of Russia. Comprehensive measures continue to bring him to justice for crimes against our state.
