Sailors defused a mine on the coast of Odessa region

Navy sailors have destroyed a sea mine that washed up on the Black Sea coast in Odessa Region. This was reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces Navy on 14 June.

Today in Odessa region, the Ukrainian Defence Forces discovered a potentially dangerous find - a mine-like object on the coast of the Black Sea.

After identification of the mine, the forces and means of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the dangerous munition was neutralised by controlled detonation in compliance with all necessary safety measures, - the report says.

The Navy reminded that in case of detection of suspicious explosive objects in no case should not approach them, do not touch them and do not try to move or neutralise them independently.

In case of detection of such objects - report to the appropriate services.

Also in the Navy warned that in the region continues to operate a ban on staying on untested parts of the coast.

Earlier Socialportal reported that in December 2023 in the Odessa region liquidated a mine, which was carried to the coast by the stormy sea.
