Russians have started recruiting young people from Belarus - CNS
After the outbreak of full-scale war in Russia, the number of officers began to decline sharply.
The Russian army is experiencing a shortage of junior officers due to significant losses at the front. In order to somehow remedy the situation, the Russians started to recruit young people from Belarus to study in military educational institutions of Russia. This is reported by the Centre of National Resistance.
As a result of heavy losses in the war against Ukraine, the Russian occupation troops have a significant shortage of junior officers. Russia is trying to remedy this by recruiting citizens of other countries, in particular, Belarusians," the report says.
In order to recruit Belarusians, the Russians go to the regions of the neighbouring country.
Representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation hold so-called "open door" days in the district centres of Belarus. There they offer the local youth to study for officers in Russian military universities," points out the CNS.
It should be noted that Lukashenko's regime supports military aggression against Ukraine. Belarus provided territory for an enemy strike against Ukraine, its military participated in the seizure of Ukrainian territories. Lukashenka also actively threatens his neighbours with nuclear tactical weapons, which were allegedly "given" to him by Putin. The two countries are constantly in a state of military exercises. Belarus has allowed Russian mercenaries of the PMC Wagner to be stationed on its territory.
