Russian troops' long-range space communications centre attacked in Crimea
Equipment and a satellite communications antenna were damaged, and an FSB officer was injured.
The Russian Air and Space Forces'long-distance space communications centre has been attacked in Crimea. This is reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.
Military unit No. 28735 was also attacked, an FSB officer was wounded, equipment and a satellite communication antenna were damaged.
According to the channel, two attacks were carried out on 20 December on Russian military units on the territory of occupied Crimea.
The first attack took place around 4:00 on 20 December in Alushta. At least 3 arrivals were recorded on the territory of the FSB v/ч 28735.
It is preliminarily known that the attack was carried out by UAVs. One FSB employee was wounded, the satellite communication antenna was damaged.
The second attack was carried out by Storm Shadow missiles at 5:00 on the Centre for Long-Range Space Communications in the village of Vitino, Saki district.
The full name of the centre is the 40th separate command and measurement complex within the Main Test Space Centre named after G. S. Titov of the Russian Air and Space Forces (v/ч 81415)," the channel reported.
At least 2 arrivals were recorded on the territory of the centre, 1 unit of military equipment was damaged.
