Russians hit residential infrastructure in the centre of Kharkiv, multi-storey buildings were damaged.
Russian troops launched a missile strike on Kharkiv on the night of 16 January, several residential buildings were destroyed. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleh Sinegubov, and Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov.
