Russian invaders once again shell Kurakhovo, people killed

As a result of shelling of the town of Kurakhovo in Donetsk region on Sunday, 21 January, a man was killed and another person was injured. This was stated by the head of the Donetsk OVA Vadim Filashkin in Telegram.

This afternoon the Russians shelled the city from Grads - hit a residential area. A 31-year-old man died at the site of the hit," he pointed out.

Filashkin added that the strike damaged a kindergarten and several private houses, started a fire, which rescuers have already put out. The exact consequences of the attack are being established.

The head of the Donetsk GPO also addressed local residents and urged them to evacuate to safer places and not to stay in the enemy's line of fire.

We would like to point out that since the beginning of the month, Russian soldiers have shelled Donetsk Region about eight thousand times. Russian soldiers are shelling both the front line and the towns in the vicinity of the Donetsk region. These are Limanska community, Avdiyivka, Krasnogorivka, Mar'ianka, Vugledar and Kurakhove. The shelling has made it difficult to deliver humanitarian aid.
