Russian Federation drafts bill that would ban Ukrainian books in occupied territories

Since the beginning of the occupation of Ukrainian territories, the Russians have been seizing libraries, exporting and burning Ukrainian books. The enemy is trying to destroy the self-identity of Ukrainians by all means.

Now the occupiers want to legalise their crimes by providing them with a legal basis. For this purpose, they have developed a relevant bill.

Moscow has drafted a bill that regulates the entry of "info-agent books", i.e. any books that encourage thinking, into the library collection," the Centre for National Resistance said.

The CNS urged Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories to cherish Ukrainian literature and, if possible, exchange books with acquaintances.
