Russian army hit playground in Nikolaev: at least three dead
Today, 17 July, the Russian military launched a missile strike on a residential area of Mykolaiv. It hit a children's playground, killing three people and injuring five others.
At about 17:20 Mykolaiv mayor Alexander Senkevich reported a hit in a residential area of the city.
As of now it is known about the victims. Unfortunately, there is a dead civilian. There is also damage to the residential sector, - said the mayor in Telegram.
At the moment it is known about three dead people, among them a child.
President Vladimir Zelensky specified that the Russian invaders hit a playground.
Russian missile strike on Nikolaev. Hitting a playground near a regular house. Five injured people are known as of this time. Three people killed by this strike, including a child. My condolences to family and friends," Zelensky said.
Ambulance medics went to the scene, said the head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Vitaly Kim. He added that citizens rushed to help even before the arrival of emergency services.
Kim also reported on shelling in the territory of Mykolaiv region.
